melissa & jeremy: part two

I had such an amazing time photographing Melissa & Jeremy's wedding. I was so happy to see my friend and client Chris Miller from Millenium Entertainment, Inc. was DJing, so I knew we were in for a great time! Chris has the most amazing staff working with him, and I absolutely love that they use slimline Bose speakers (no big boxy speakers ruining my photos and causing me to spend hours in Photoshop!)

Melissa & Jeremy had the most amazing black and white theme which is so elegant and edgy at the same time. Their placecards were to die for!

They made their grand entrance, my favorite part of a wedding day. Such a fun moment when everyone is relaxed yet so excited!

The cake was an absolute work of art. I need to find out who did it! It was just stunning.

There's just nothing like a parquet dance floor in your first dance pics.

Melissa and Jeremy share their wedding anniversary now with Melissa's parents, who were so adorably in love all day. Congratulations you two!

And the best part of the party? A group that was serious about gettin' down and letting it all hang out. I felt a little weird by not joining in the party! It was that contagious. I'll try my best to narrow it down to my faves. Enjoy!

The two dollar dance collectors up to something....

A couple from the bridal party just crazy about each other...so cute!

And everyone couldn't resist rocking out to Journey's "Separate Ways"

What a blast! When you guys getting married again????

Nice work with off camera flash here Lynne. So, what was your MO here? How did you fire them, and were you using ETTL?

Two 580 ex's, unmodified, facing each other on opposite corners of the dance floor. ETTL all the way, thanks to the ST-E2 :) Thanks for commenting!

The shot of Mom and Dad dancing is a stunner. I need a second flash...and am considering the Radio Poppers to trigger them. I played the devil with the STE2 inside Carlsbad Caverns. I think/hope the battery was low. I will be using it this weekend at a wedding...and hope to use my "light on a stick" method again!
