katie & brandon: engaged

What a fantastic e-session I had last night with Katie & Brandon in Lockerbie! The weather and light were so cooperative (along with little Addison!) I am still buzzing from excitement, you guys were a blast to work with, and I can't wait for your wedding next Spring at the Columbia Club!

Everyone knows how much I love photographing laughers! Katie takes the cake! Brandon can just look at her and she'll start giggling. They are so cute together!







I am just stunned at the luck we had to come across a red glossy shopping cart in the alley. Just begged for a shot. I am so glad no one got hurt! :)


And as much as Katie & Brandon love laughing together, they can be tender and sweet, too!




I had an absolute blast and thank you guys again for the opportunity of working with you (and your awesome mom, Cindy!) You rock!

shilpa + aaron: mendhi ceremony

Friday's Mehndi ceremony was the first of several events in the American/Indian wedding of Shilpa & Aaron. I must get to my other wedding editing but had to share a few favorites with you! (Sept 1-14 clients: full galleries will go live by this Friday, thanks for being patient with my internet issues this past week!)

Everyone had a chance to sit with the mendhi artist.

the younger girls worked so hard to prepare a dance for the bride, it was so sweet!











The hostess had their own little dance floor in the corner of their basement. It was awesome! (You guys, I still have "Om Shanti Om" in my head...and on my iPod now!)

lindsey + sean: married

Not even Hurricane Ike could stop the gorgeous wedding of Lindsey & Sean from happening in Bloomington, Indiana this weekend. After pouring cats and dogs all day Friday and the rehearsal, the skies dried up and while it was hot, the day was a gorgeous one for their intimate wedding and reception at The Fields. It was a lovely contrast to their urban engagement session which you may remember from earlier this spring.

Lindsey made such a gorgeous bride.

Love this one that Scott snagged of her and Dad before her big entrance. So sweet!


The ceremony was so elegant yet rustic, perfect for early fall.

The kiss! They apparently remembered the "almost kiss" technique from the e-session :)

The bridal party thought I was a little nuts for this shot, but hopefully it was worth it???




Gotta love those Palladian windows! Doesn't Lindsey look gorgeous when she laughs?

The Best Man was such a big fan Lindsey & Sean, and he gave a very funny, sweet toast.

laura + john: married

What a GORGEOUS day this past Saturday was to get married! Laura & John's morning wedding at the Church at the Crossing was so intimate, and the reception in the Crystal Terrace at the Columbia Club was stunningly beautiful in the daylight. Jim Cerone was the Master of Ceremonies...what a fabulous gentleman and host. Highly recommended!
